Sid Lee’s team is composed of highly creative individuals who seek inspiring biophilic environments in which to work. Thus, the Sid Lee offices are densely planted, notably thanks to the presence of numerous potted plants, as well as a monumental plant-covered staircase and a spectacular green wall.
The biophilia hypothesis was explored in the early 1980s by Edward O. Wilson, who proposed that humans have an innate tendency to connect with nature and with living beings such as plants, animals, and other humans. Thus, the simple presence of plants in a workplace fulfills a fundamental human need, improving the well-being of the people who work there and enhancing their cognitive and creative abilities.
This indoor landscaping was designed and created in collaboration with Wallemi.
