Certain phytotechnologies, such as green walls and roofs, now allows for the creation of gardens that are quite different from traditional landscaping. Landscaping can now become an integral part of buildings and give them a new function.

Diverse phytotechnologies have enabled us to make this apartment building located on Montreal's South Shore one of the first biophilic real estate projects in Canada. For example, some terraces, a roof, and the roof of the underground parking of this building are covered with plants. Aluminum containers and a lightweight vegetation system composed of stocky plants such as stonecrops and dwarf conifers, requiring little substrate, were used to limit the weight of the landscaping.

The building's interior courtyard features a large terrace covered by a pergola and equipped with an outdoor kitchen, as well as several planters and gardening tables where residents grow vegetables.

This outdoor landscaping was designed and built in collaboration with Toiture Nature and Toits Vertige.
