Biosphere

The Biosphere is located in the Jean-Drapeau Park, under the metallic sphere which was the pavilion of the United States during the Montreal International and Universal Exposition held in 1967. A true architectural masterpiece created by architect Buckminster Fuller, the Biosphere houses the only environmental museum in Canada. I had the great privilege of contributing with my team to the design and construction of various landscaping found inside and outside the Biosphere. Perfectly integrated to the building, these green arrangements lead the visitor to

reflect on the relevance of reintegrating Nature into cities. They are an eloquent demonstration of the multiple benefits of plants on humans. At the Biosphere, you can see various original and innovative landscaping, including two huge green roofs, two green walls in which depolluting plants are grown and an interior garden reproducing certain natural ecosystems. An impressive mosaiculture representing planet Earth was also recently installed in the basin located in front of the museum. The Biosphere is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
