In collaboration with Les Jardins de vos Rêves and Paysage gourmand, I designed the
Essor comestible Garden as an urban agricultural display in which edible plants and
recovered materials are combined to form an original and amazing landscaping.
Installed in the Roger-Van den Hende Garden, this arrangement is an inspiring place
since certain elements that compose it can easily be reproduced by the people who visit
The Essor Comestible Garden is mainly composed of beds made of rusty steel forming
an enclosure in the center of which are arranged three green columns surrounded by
various aromatic plants, vegetables and fruit shrubs grown in recycled and recovered
The Essor Comestible Garden is permanently installed in the Roger-Van den Hende
Garden at Laval University in Quebec City.
Be sure to visit it from June until the end of September, every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
